Rosemary a popular plant which was also known as ros maris or summeri rose. It was used by the Greeks in ancient times for its curative properties and even dedicated the plant to their goddess Aphrodite.


It has been proven that rosemary is effective in treating premature aging and this is because of its potent antioxidant properties.


Rosemary is rich in flavonoids which are compounds that are important as they help to boost blood circulation whole strengthening the blood vessels and flow to tissues.

Preparation Of Tincture For Treating Rheumatism


To get relief from rheumatism you can prepare rosemary tincture.


Here is how to prepare it:


  • Put 20 grams of rosemary in about 100 ml of alcohol.
  • Allow this to sit for about 10 days and after which you need to strain it.
  • Dissolve between 15 to 20 drops in a glass of water.
  • You can also use it externally to treat rheumatism and circulation problems.

Treat Headaches


You can use rosemary to treat headaches easily. All you need to do is prepare rosemary tea using both the leaves and flowers.


To prepare this tea you should just pour 1 teaspoon of either fresh or dried leaf in a cup of boiled water, let it sit for about 15 minutes then drink 2 cups daily but do not drink before bedtime.


You can also inhale rosemary tea to combat depression. It will also help to relax your muscles and this is great if you are fighting menstrual cramps.


To stimulate blood circulation you can take rosemary wine and you can prepare this wine by soaking 2 tablespoons of the flowers and leaves in a liter of white wine. Allow this to sit for about 6 days and after this strain it.


Drink a brandy cup of this wine on an empty stomach and you will boost blood circulation, you will also reduce inflammation and gout.


Boost Your Hair With Rosemary Hair Growth Serum


  • Mix 50 ml of sweet almond oil with 8 drops of rosemary essential oil and 6 drops of lavender essential oil as well as 3 drops of clary sage essential oil.
  • Topically apply this serum on your scalp and rub it along your hair shafts.
  • Make sure to brush your hair in order to have the serum evenly distributed.
