Meet my new best friend, DIY Aspirin Scrub.
When I was in high school, my mom was one of those mothers that got asked if she was a sister if she ever came to the school for anything. She looks young because her skin looks young. She has a few DIY tips that she has shared with me. This is one of them.
Every month or so, she does an aspirin scrub. I have seen people making masks with honey, but this recipe is a little different. It is less messy and more simple. Win. Win.
Inscructions:
- Crush up 2-4 tablets from a Bottled Aspirin and mix it with some warm water to make a scrub. P.S. Write it on your grocery list or click on the link to have it delivered right to your door. You need to try this right away.
- Apply it to the face using small circular movements concentrating on rough areas including acne. (I don’t recommend getting it on the eyelids, it is too abrasive.)
- Continue this for 2-5 minutes. This mimics in home
microdermabrasion and a mild chemical peel because aspirin is derived from the same source as salicylic acid. - Rinse well with cold water
This will leave your skin so shiny and smooth and even a little tighter too! I LOVE THIS DIY ASPIRIN SCRUB!!!
